We have been informed by Rehoboth Homestead and Asgaard Farm that they do not wish to continue with the market. It was our pleasure to host this market for several years. Please keep supporting local growers and stop in at the Skate Shop and say hi if you are in Lake Placid.

Opening April Market NOW :)

Hi All,

My apologies for not opening this on schedule as I had planned…..wrapping up with school, I got sidetracked and didn’t realize I had missed this until yesterday evening.

We will keep ordering open until Thursday at 12, and pickup will be Friday at the Skate Shop.

Please note, Beth is not participating with Rehoboth Farmstead goods, but Asgaard has some lovely items for sale that might be of interest.

Organic eggs available this week

Late note – Beth just let us know that with the lousy, icy weather last week they have some extra eggs (fed certified organic feed, wintered in a large hoophouse) so she has listed them for us!

We have been wanting Rehoboth Homestead’s eggs again but their winter farmstore has been taking them all. The icy weather gives us a chance at her great eggs.

Market open - pickup day different

November Market Open!

Good news! We have received confirmation to go ahead with the market this winter! We are so grateful to you, our customers, for your patience during this time.

Rehoboth Homestead will be harvesting their fall ducklings within the next two weeks. They normally just keep the breasts and legs to save
freezer space. If you would like whole duck for Thanksgiving (you pick up unless you get one of the two currently listed), Christmas, or anytime this winter, please reserve them now by calling 518-572-0922 or emailing info@rhomestead.com . You will be able to pay and pick up through us with your December order, though they won’t be in our list.

October Market

Hello everyone,

I just returned yesterday late evening from my grandmother’s funeral, so apologies for not sending a message sooner. Friday was supposed to be the day the market opened, but I have not heard from the farmers about continuing, so I did not want to open it without knowing for sure that we would have it. When I hear back from them I will send out a notice.

May market open - stock up now!

Hi everyone,

I just returned from my business trip late yesterday, so sorry I didn’t open the market on the 11th as advertised.

This month may be our last market until the fall, although I am still attempting to find a way to continue through the summer. If there are any ways we can coordinate to keep it going, we will, and I will message either way soon.

May Market date change

Hi everyone,

I hope you are well!

Unfortunately, I am being sent out of town for a conference last-minute, so I will have to change the dates. Ordering will begin Friday May 11, and will stay open until 10 pm on Monday May 14. Pickup will be Wednesday May 16.

This will most likely be our last market for the summer, so it’s a good time to stock up. If anything changes, we will let you know.
