Hi everyone,

It’s that time again—the Lake Placid Online Farmer’s Market is live and ready for ordering!

Beth from Rehoboth regrets that she does not have photos included this month…however, she has added lots of tomatoes – cherries, saladettes, heirlooms, and you can buy 100 pounds for canning. Beth has also added incredibly beautiful and delicious sweet peppers in various colors and shapes. All of these items are organically grown.

August Farmer's Market Time!

Hello Everyone,

Hope you have been enjoying summer!

The Farmer’s Market is now open and ordering will be enabled until the 11th at 1 pm. Pickup will be August 13th at the skate shop.

This month, the highlighted items from Asgard Farm are cheese, ground beef, beef patties, and bratwurst. Check it out!

July Market

Hi Everyone,

Sorry I didn’t email right away…it’s time for the market! Please get all orders in by 2 pm Tuesday. If necessary you can call me and put in your order that way.

Rehoboth has some new items including zucchini, Boston lettuce, green leaf lettuce, red leaf lettuce, heirloom lettuce, lettuce salad mix, fresh farm eggs,basil, chicken liver, flower bouquets, and flower bunches.

North Country Creamery’s highlighted items include farmers cheese with fresh dill from Rehoboth Homestead, which they describe as “fresh, squeaky cheese curd pressed into wheels then cut into wedges…it melts like mozzarella!” Another summertime favorite is “herbed cheeseville: a cross between cream cheese and sour cream with fresh chives and scallions. A tub of smooth, creamery cheese for dipping fresh veggies or spreading onto a bagel!”

June Market--Summer is Here!!

Hi everyone,

It’s almost time for the June market…thank you Beth for the “Market Update”!

We will have our first field lettuce salad mix of the year this week. Otherwise, vegetables are VERY late this year. While most of our ducks are firmly setting on clutches of eggs, we do have five in peak egg laying form, so we do have duck eggs. Asgaard Farm has its spring goat milk products – fresh chevre, caramels, etc. North Country Creamery’s cows are out on lush grass, producing great 100% grass-fed yogurt and fresh cheeses. Harmony Hills, Asgaard, and Rehoboth Homestead all have a good supply of free-range/pastured/grass-fed meats, some fed certified organic, non-GMO, soy-free feed.
